Not impressed? Well think about this. If I printed this out at 100% stored size it would be 16.6in by 12.5in and you could easily double that and not loose any quality.

8.1 megapixels is pretty impressive on a phone, however, i should think with a sensor that size with that many kind of rez crammed on, you'll get some noise. regardless, beats the piss out of my 2 megapixels on the BB.
You maybe right Syd, but from what I've read it's as good as most 8mp digital cameras. I've also noticed the blogger crops the rez of very highres pictures so you'll not see it at it's best. I'll sort out some good examples and post links at some point.
